Yes, I know, but judges don't like too many status hearings. I re-read what our observers said about the last hearing. Usually there are arguments back and forth before an extension is heard. Would love to know if that happened or if it was just an exchange of papers.

The hearings are the only times when you can get "inside" a case because attorneys won't talk much to you - except on a historical basis.

I wanted an idea from the clerk what happened during the arguments during the last status hearing, but they are all out on vacation or out to lunch.

SNY is the company that lost its patent hearing yesterday. It received quite a bit of publicity and the competing companies immediately jumped with their generic drugs.

It is very possible this is that kind of reaction. Or - more to the point - a drop and pop anticipating news next week. If that is the case, the MM's really have a boat load of stock to sell into a sharp upturn.

Or heavy shorting from Germany. Take your pick.
