I deleted my message but do believe public schools should not teach evolution...I'd have no problem with evolution being taught in science classes, but I guarantee you creationists would demand equal time and that would scare me. Frankly, I'd prefer public schools not get involved at all as it would open the door for crank theories to be taught, theories with no scientific basis - not the intent of a public school edu, imo.
