well, science classes would be the place for teaching scientific principles. to back off because of fear from religious fundamentalists would just mean that american students would just be even farther behind the rest of the world in education. another way they love to foster the decay of our scientific community.

well that's were evolution is taught in science class. But the problem is these crazies think "intelligent design" should also be taught in science.
