If you already deleted the two fleas that MB found, try running MB again in Normal mode.

I feel your pain, actually everybody's groans going through hours of scanning with or without tech support from Jack Daniels.

Some of you on the board are describing what may be a rootkit, which is a category of particularly bad malware.

Unfortunately many rootkits are so devious (intelligent), they can hide from NAV, McAfee and the other mainstream anti-vir programs, even re-naming themselves to avoid detection.

Long story short, two progs (below) helped pinpoint the problems, but I still had to go through several directories and the Registry to manually delete files and keys.

Fast, specialized scan. Installation not necessary. Good idea to rename TDSSKiller.exe to anything you like - gofishing.exe, dilutionsux.exe, etc. - to avoid the possibility of a rootkit smart enough to recognize the prog.

Finally MS is getting serious. Free. Getting good reviews.

It gets to a certain part of the scan ... and then stops, etc.

A lot of people are reporting that this is a problem with ZoneAlarm, even if it's been uninstalled (residual files). Search.
