Seems as if you left something out...yes they drift down after a spike and then they drift up 2, or if there is posetive news(as we just witnessed with slmu) they run up a huge spike fast!!IMO

The difference is that, over time, with low volume, more and more discouraged sellers sell but few buyers decide... "hmmm.. this lack of volume is very enticing... I think I'll buy more".
Penny stocks seldom stay at the same level once they have traded upward and with limited volume, they always drift downward.
