#7750 RE: 737 Driver #7749

To give a general feel for the problem of just the data transfer, it has only recently been that 1 giga hertz network for the home have been developed. This is where fiber optic lines will make the most impact when dealing with the raw data transfer. 60 giga hertz for monochromatic and if we assume that 256 color is desired, then 256 * 60 giga hertz. That is a lot of data!!!! I believe that optic fiber will be able to meet and exceed the required through put but it is another problem to be solved. It will be impressive to say the least. If we assume just a static 256 color 1k x 1k x 1k, it is still 256 giga bits of information. My new hard drive is way too small!!! Ha! Of course this is the worst case design for the raw data. Data compression methods will be applied is any final design. Lets assume the time it take to copy a hard drive to another hard drive to get an idea of the time to transfer!!
