' X-Cal's drilling has produced hints of higher-grade zones, with one intersection producing a grade of 14 grams per tonne over about 60 metres, including a 1.5-metre section with a grade of 440 grams per tonne.'

440g/t is about fourteen ounces, 7000-loonie rock, you could mine that with a teaspoon and a tonka truck and make money ..... Amax got higher grades than that in places, of course ... there was a lot of frustration among the people directly involved, when head office wouldn't listen [and instead shot their wad on Clive's Refugio, aaargh] ... but timing was a big issue, for X-Cal too, the gold bear helped them get the deal, but it wasn't easy to keep it, or advance the project ..... this was a great piece you wrote here, Will, i'd forgotten it ..... cheers
