SSalner, Actually there was discussion and it was on Compuserve. I used to spend about $300.00 a month back then to get quotes and news items. I also used to talk to many of the same brokers I do today. I actually got calls from some that attended the trial and let me tell you everyone was caught off guard. None of us thought Mot had a chance.
Let me say one thing though , this situation is much different because this is not about validity of patents. This is about whether S/E is a trigger and how much is Nokia is liable for.
Well, we have all been disappointed by this stock many times. Yet something keeps us here. The biggest difference between now and then as has been stated by others is that we were screwed by a jury trial made up of technically ignorant people. One of the jurors at that time had to be told what a cell phone was. How could they have possibly rendered a fair and intelligently formed decision.
