Dan, I think wbmw's calc based on the data posted by burn2learn is accurate. 7% market share is not bad for 1Q05.

Dan, I just discussed this with I_Banker. The article said, "Intel's 64-bit Xeon processor accounted for 797,000 systems sold during the quarter." That probably doesn't include 32-bit Xeons, which Intel still sells.
