I'm positive I've seen a story that included stats on systems with 2 or more CPUs, but I haven't been able to find it, tonight.

Re: I think wbmw's calc based on the data posted by burn2learn is accurate. 7% market share is not bad for 1Q05.

Just keep in mind that burn2learn posted IDC data, while many of the posted news stories came from Gartner. The actual number could be somewhere in the middle of these two estimates, or even slightly outside of both of them. It becomes philosophical to nit-pick any further, but as long as you use the same metric from quarter to quarter, then you can make comparisons.
