I doubt my posts, positive or negative have any effect on the share price whatsoever but the D-backs can use every bit of help they can get. In that light, I will repost the response I just posted on the other board in the hope that you view it as at least fair if not positive. Unfortunatly you have qualified your support by tying it to HRCT's share price and I don't hold out a lot of hope in that area in the near future. If they contine along this line, the share price might reflect their progress over a longer period.....
If it were a PR issued by another company (MOT for example) it would be considered a normal communication with the purpose of letting people know about the activities of the company. MOT often does this with police radio contracts which are not a significant amount of revenue compared to MOT's total revenues.
It doesn't appear to include grandiose promises or speculation on possible future events that cannot be fulfilled. If it is spread over a couple of years as it seems to be then I would consider that a positive situation since it will provide revenue into the future.
If HRCT is going to move into these fields then they have to start somewhere and a contract with one police agency could lead to contracts with others in the future if this agency is satisfied with the service.
One contract is not going to turn HRCT around but it is a start. Yes, they will have to do more but there is no point in criticizing them for a success no matter how small.
HRCT has a long way to go to convince me that they have changed for the better but I will not fault them for this step in the right direction without evidence to the contrary.
