Last evening, after we finished working for the day, hubby put a bug in my ear about where to go for the next trip. We only go away for a couple days at a time, so that others don't have to look after our chickens for us.
It has been a great summer for getting away on mini vacations for sure.
Today I have to can a lot of dog meat. Plus, I removed all the garlic scapes yesterday and so want to pickle a bunch of them. Then I need to move onto to pickling some Beets.
Always so much work to do in the summer months, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I Love looking at pantry shelves full of canning!
