I simply cannot imagine any dealer would pay $75,000 annually for something that would only cost 175,000 to build themselves, and only gives a small portion of that in cost benefits. It is illogical. Do the math, how much electricity can they purchase for $75,000? For a handful of Volts per dealership? Most of the Volts being sold are being sold to government (create a consumer to pretend the demand is there), the government buildings don't tend to be by a dealership, so they would have no need of a recharging canopy (they'll probably "save" taxpayer funds by building one at each government facility) but, even if they did so, it would help the builders, not SLMU

Sunbits says it costs $1 to charge one vehicle (I have no idea where he got that number), I've seen articles that claim the cost of charging on the grid is $2-$3. MT article says 12 a day.............. where is the $75,000 annual value? It doesn't make sense.
