McCloud, re: recent sec filing
we went over the filing last night in chat with a fine tooth comb and here's what we came up with. ray has been awarded a total of 20,000 options exercisable at $ 3.92. those 20,000 shares will be broken up into 4-5000 shares tranches per year starting on march 5, 2001.
the filing isn't exactly clear as to whether or not ray has exercised any of the first 5000 but not only didn't i see anywhere where it stated he did, 5000 would have beeen the maximum amount he could have if he wanted to.
now the reason they were granted is where get into pure speculation. IMO grandylong came up with the best scenario when he suggested this is part of the bonus plan for their employee/management team. the goods news about that scenario is that since ray is the CEO one could infer that he would be the one eligible for the most shares. and if he's only getting 5000 per year that shows that the company is not throwing shares around like crazy.
so hopefully this will answer some of the questions surrounding the filing and if anybody else has a different take on it please add it to the mix.
