Good afternoon Mark, I've been so busy catching up on reading that I haven't looked at the market yet today. This AIM is so high stress that most days when I don't look at the market it does just fine without me! :-)
I heard on the TV this AM that GE (boy that's a bunch of initials all in one sentence!) employees were considering a strike because of rising medical insurance costs. This I find interesting for a couple of reasons. 1st is that GE is a major producer of high end medical imaging equipment! Second is that all of us here at V.I.E.W. are also considering a strike against our boss if we don't get free medical and dental for life!

With Au, do you play with individual stocks or the general precious metals sector? How about with Energy?
Years ago when I was managing a charitable trust, we kept 5% content in each yellow and black gold on average. During that era the energy fund did better than the precious metals. That was symptomatic of the times more than of the equities.
