Should Panasonic agree that the IDCC Patents actually triggers the application of the $19.5 Million Advance..IDCC will utilize what I believe to be some $12-$15 million sitting as cash and transfer it to current recurring revenue..It is a non-cash expense for Panasonic..since their Advance was non-refundable and has long been written off their books.I would think that IDCC would be required to re-upgrade their recent upgrade for 2nd Quarter 2005 , when Pansonic reports their past 3G sales...
3G, I don't think they have to do anything on the JPO until they come to resolution of monetary value with Panasonic. I would not hold my breath on an 8K about the patents having issued. That is a normal course of business, until they are monetized.
