With Mailbox in the old location one could see a new message arrive while reading through messages, without actually looking at Mailbox. Now one has to actually look away from the message box to check for new mail. And don't say the purple popup will tell me when I have new mail because if I step away for a moment I can miss that and not realize there is a new message waiting.
Yes, it will pass, we will get used to it (that doesn't mean we like it, just that we give up fighting the inevitable since no one cares how we feel anyway), but there will inevitably come a breaking point, the final straw, where the compilation of inconveniences drives one to a more hospitable location. I know, I know, Dave, don't worry, I won't let the door hit me in the a$$ on my way out. . .
