From following all the posts ["from what I have seen"], this merger was to have taken place by July 1, or perhaps even sooner. It is now August 3rd and still nothing. Therefore, I was skeptical when read that things would happen in "about two weeks". The only thing that seems for sure is that we cannot count on anything that we are told, by anyone, especially of things happening by a "certain" date - unless there are facts to substantiate the claim. I was asking for facts to substantiate the claim that financials should have been produced by now and did not and still have not heard/seen anything to indicate that they will appear... today or tomorrow or... This is why I challenged the posts about the financials appearing within a set period of time.
I think it is wiser to say nothing about time frames unless the time frames are set in concrete and nothing can interfere with and/or delay them. It would have been better to say, "I hear that they're trying to finish up with the financials in the next couple of weeks, but we will just have to wait and see if and when that happens." In this way, hope remains alive but expectations remain low/reasonable.
Let's hope that things begin moving faster than they have been and that the financials and merger are finalized sooner rather than later - just as we have been told!
