The Achilles heal of these "bigger than life" egos is that no one in their world ever calls them out on being egotistical and self centered.

As a result, they grow to experience themselves as above and beyond reproach and thus make serious mistakes such as insider trading!

As a trading strategy, long term, I can just look for the most egotistical managers and bet against them when they end up in court! LOL
