Hi Rien I think you answered your own question when you said this "Basically you would have to ask yourself if you really want that money at risk or not." I agree that is the real question because looking at stocks like KO MCD SBUX KKD all have risk that is stock specific and industry specific and all have had different returns.So if one runs the numbers for all four stocks you will get four different returns.
So does investing in more that one stock lower risk depends on the stocks in the portfolio and if you want that money at risk.
Sometimes the numbers don't hold the answers.
