you are getting my point, perhaps, that there are quite likely no vast underground pools in Israel geology, only the shale oil, which is way more expensive and infrastructure heavy to get at.

wildcatting and poking a few holes and hoping to hit it rich on some undiscovered pool is comparatively cheap vs. shale extraction. the easy money poke and strike gusher just isn't there, imo

Answer: No, ZN is not possibly ever going to be interested in shale development.

They might SAY they are, if they think people will keep feeding them more cash.

They also said they were interested in NatGas right after Noble made their huge offshore natgas find.

So their track record of playing horseshoes... where close counts... is so far highly predictable.
