Hey Ronny,
I visit Jim's IDCC board frequently, and am a fan of
your analysis. I'm also a big (for me) holder of IDCC
stock, which makes it hard to write about, since most
magazines prohibit their writers from owning the
stocks they mention. I'd be crazy to sell this stock
to gain a writing assignment, so I'm not going to be
much help this year.
But let IDCC settle with Ericsson and define the Nokia
rate and you'll have all the press you can handle. In
any event, the story I'd really like to tell is about
the IDCC board. Jim and the rest of you have created
what the Internet promises but seldom delivers: a
community of people all trying to understand a company
and--with civility--sharing ideas. It'll make a great
article when IDCC hits 100--which might be just a few
months after Ericsson settles. I look forward to
meeting you at the party.
