"IN THE INTERIM, nothing is stopping the NH legislature and governor from moving legislation forward which will moot the entire SC appeal and clear the decks for the project to move forward w/o the IPP's getting diddly, as it should be. They should get NOTHING out of this deal. They shot themselves in their own feet, let them PAY the PRICE for their own mistakes."
The IPP's have as many supporters as detractors contrary to the biased articles in the Berlin Sun. The towns surrounding the IPPs are lobbying just as hard against the Berlin Plant. They're going to see a loss in jobs and tax base. They also represent a population as great or greater than Berlin. Nothing is going to move through the Legislature. Do you think the representatives from Tamworth, Bethlehem, Whitefield, Bristol, and Alexandria are going to support a plant in Berlin?
