The CPA who conducted this audit saw all the numbers from the private company for 2009, 2010 and the first quarter of 2011 and determined that they were accurate. They were just taken public in May.

Since neither you or the other CPA you quote have seen the numbers that were audited, it is difficult to understand how you could make a valid judgement, so I will accept the certified CPA audit from the person who obviously has knowledge of the facts.
