Rruff,
No one on these boards is going to have any kind of answer other than our own best guesses for your questions 1-4.
The closest thing I've found to even a decent outlook on EVS tech value, was the link that I posted on this board a month or so ago to a contract that had been made public. Had nothing to do with AVTX, but the technology was an EVS system for Naval ships. Seemed to be a very similar setup with royalties based on a percentage of the end user sale price.
The royalties were 8% per unit....and you can obviously see what that kind of royalty would mean to AVTX.
Again, I'm not saying that there is any connection whatsoever to that contract and AVTX...there certainly isn't....but a lot of the language in that contract was very similar to what has been mentioned in the AVTX filings....
5) There does look to be about 70mil shares of AVTX once fully diluted. Of course, I would guess that 18.5 mil or so of AVTX is still held in preferred form by G. Ball, and unless he has something up his sleeve, it looks like he is more apt to buy shares (well, at least direct the company towards doing so) than selling shares.
6) I'm not so sure that 4,000,000 shares actually got placed in that deal. That would be a good question to email G. Ball.
In the stock placement chart, it mentions 4,000,000 for $5109, as you say. However, in the Management Financial Discussion, posted at the bottom of the filing, it says the following:
"In February 2004, the Board of Directors directed our corporate attorney to file for the issuance of 4,000,000 shares and instructed the corporate attorney to prepare a Private Placement Memorandum for the private placement of 4,000,000 common shares subject to Rule 144 restrictions to provide for operating capital and new business development for 2004. As of September 30, 2004, 560,000 shares of ATI preferred shares has been placed, and the activity is continuing."
While it may still be cheap at .01, it's still not as cheap as 4mil for that price. Also, I'm guessing that the shares still have the 2 year holding requirement, and if I was going to buy common shares that sell for .02-.03 on the open market, I'm sure not going to buy the same shares for .02-.03 with a 2 year holding agreement....
It also could have been a way to reward someone close to the camp, who is willing to hold for 2 years...
7) No one knows, because no one knows what the company is going to really produce. I could certainly see the company producing the $30 mil in revenues over the next, say 10 years...while the revenues will probably grow later in that period, if they were to say, bring in $2mil in revenues in a year, I don't think it would be unrealistic to see a 15-20 price-to-revenue ratio for a stock that is an up-and-comer (that would put us somewhere in the .50 range with the current O/S)...Let's face it, there are a lot of stocks that are valued MUCH, MUCH higher on the OTCBB with 1/10th of the potential of AVTX....That's what is exciting...
So that's my best stab at some of those questions. There are certainly a lot of questions that remain here, and this is nothing BUT a speculation play....of course, any stocks really is, OTCBB or not...just the stakes are much higher.
I'm with you in the feeling that baseless projections are, well, just that...baseless...but that's all we have right now...I certainly would be surprised if the stock were able to climb to levels that some here are talking about...but again, we've all seen stocks with lesser potential do it here...so I can understand the enthusiasm.
Certainly a fun stock...I would never suggest that anyone buy or sell a stock, but I have personally invested most of my loose stock-playing money here in the expectation that it certainly should hold near it's current valuation and has a pretty darn good chance to rise. Heck, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that found this one before the fall to .02-.03 and loaded up there...
All my opinions, good luck to all.
