Congratulations on your gains—if you’re thinking of taking some chips off the table, you might want to consider betting on a small biotech company that is generating a boatload of cash flow from operations every quarter :- )

Don't want to sound smug(though I probably will) but no, go right ahead and sell here-

It has been a tremendous run-up the past year, which has most recently been punctuated by what looks to be the continuation of major institutional accumulation, attendant short covering, and end of the quarter window dressing,

all of which may lead to either a lull, or pullback strictly on technical grounds.

Nevertheless, those same institutions may be accumulating because they know a little more than we do about the timing of a potential cascade of catalysts(reference the last few days of Ariad Ihub board)that may be(are likely to be) materializing sooner rather than later.

If you've been following Ariad at all closely, I think you'll realize that the 1.6bil Mkt cap is(despite it's rapid recent evolution)rather conservative.

The massive volume increase over the last month suggests that relevant institutions have concluded as much.

Disclosure: In case there's still anyone who doesn't realize it, this is, by far, my largest position, and I have(like Harvey?)yet to sell a share.

Best,

>>ARIA

Someone want to talk me out of selling?

Well I wouldn't be too surprised if there is an offering here. So in the very short term maybe it has gotten ahead of itself.

But long term I think it is still a very good buy. If everything goes right they could end up as a major oncology company, and the EGFR news is very intriguing - it significantly increased the potential upside, although this still has to be classed as a speculative opportunity. We should know more by the end of the year.

ARIA was already my biggest position when the stock was under $2 and I still have pretty much all the shares I did then, so it's not inconceivable that I will lighten up a little (but not much) at some point.
