Like any attorney, he is billing for the time he spends on this. A person might not be charged for faxing his info, but Frizzell will charge for his time in handling, analyzing, etc against the big pot of money they've collected. Like I said before, he probably won't have to do another case again because there's so many here willing to throw money his way.
I don't know why anyone would ever send personal info to a complete stranger who in turn plans to put it on a CD to give to others who may ask. NOBO lists are delivered encrypted. You all sent this stuff to him over an unsecure fax and email which a hacker could easy collect and steal your identity. If you run into such problems later on, remember this incident.
