Covering shorters buy. They'd have to cover if trading totally stops which is increasingly possible. SEC shut down many stocks already in June.
Another possibility is that a brokerage company is doing a favor for a client and allowing him to realize a tax loss. In some cases the brokerage commission may be more than the value of the stock.
Only two German trades of HRCT for the past month or two. HRCT now only trades in Stuttgart, and just barely. I presume trading will soon end there as it did on the other German exchanges last fall.
