Didn't Monkee buy a convertible? He probably needed a Mecedes convertible so he could drive through the Arizona desert and let the wind sweep through his hair. Rumor has it he always says "Thanks Monks Den Suckers!" every time he gets far away enough from civilization so that no one can hear him.
Of course, after a hard day of fiddling around with Mel, he can always relax in his jacuzzi tub back home at the mini-mansion. It is rumored that he often silently thanks all of the Den "Family" for that privilege as well. As well he should. He went from painting houses and working as a 500 dollar per job message board pumper to millionaire extraordinaire almost overnight thanks to the generosity of "The Fam".
