If they put Jeter on the Dl who do you think that the Yanks will call up to take his place? They have so many injuries right now that they can take their pick between an infielder, a catcher or a pitcher of the starter or reliever variety.

Tonights game should be a pretty good pitching matchup with CC and the guy from the Rangers that is 7-0 with like a 2.10 era.

What the Yankees are doing to the game with this obnoxious trek to 3,000 for Jeter is pathetic. They keep the saintly Red Sox waiting for over 3 hours at night on their getaway day as they were playing in Toronto the next night with an afternoon game the next day. Cashman, the human bilge pump, knew it was going to be a problem for the Red Sox as they got in about 5:30 AM to their hotel. All for the pathetic excuse of having an aging elder get 3,000 hits at home.
