Who would doubt that Osama is a great "humanitarian" when it serves his purpose? His "schools" also teach kids that martyring oneself is a good thing, for "Allah", as is murdering Jews, Christians, and other "infidels", for "Allah". Osama's fundamentalists are not fond of most Moslems either, only "high Moslems". Despite what appears to be righteous benevolence, Osama's is a opportunistic political movement that has very little to do with "Allah" or religion. It should be treated as such.

I have heard Osama is very well funded, and targets the most desperate people living in abject poverty, in third world countries. He provides a minimal existance for these people and then he owns them. He tells them that we are the enemy, and they believe him. Of course he builds infrastructure. He is trying to build a coalition of Moslem countries. Osama is all political. He sells a violent and perverse religious doctrine to people so desperate they'll believe anything. Needless to say, this is all very "un-holy", and there is nothing altruistic about Osama's "giving"....

The real question is who is providing Osama with the resources necessary to do this. I have heard that Saudi Arabia, the world capital of Islam, has some divine mandate to convert non-Moslems, and further the Islamic cause throughout the world. I wouldn't count Saudi Arabia out as the root of the radical Moslem movement. But then the Saudi's are our "allies".....

Osama's movement is simply another rather nasty political movement, like Communism....
