The Magical Naked Shorters selling airshares sprinkled with pixie dust is a fairy tale, originally contrived by Monk and then adopted by EIGH management, meant to scam naive investors who are inclined to believe lies that aren't supported by facts or logic.

Well, the magical naked shorters predate Monkster and EIGH, first being used by Commander Fluffy to cover up massive under-the-table sales of unauthorized shares.

The part that is so mind-blowing in EIGH's case is that anyone can believe management's tales of the ENSSFM under the bed, when everything they ever said has been a lie.
