It's a viscious cycle of killing and hatred, and more, and more killing and hatred, with no end in sight. Like the chicken and egg, violence begets occupations, and occupation begets violence but the outcome of both is hatred and more violence. There seems to be no end plan, just two old leaders with old vendettas and enough "baggage" to make one wonder if either has the objectivity to reason a solution beyond more violence.
But believe me, if I had to fear putting my kids on a bus to go to school, or if they couldn't go to school because of occupation and curfew, I would grow to hate too. If I had to fear daily living, I would hate, eventually....I think that's human nature.
They say that in order to assure our own freedoms, we must advocate for the freedoms for all people. Hatred is the easy part. There are many who believe US foreign policy has been too oppressive or heavy handed, and Americans have been oblivious to this. And now we, Americans, are not very popular folks, to say the least. We now live with the threat of violence on our own shores....
