I do not know of a way to make spider silk cheaper than by natural means. Feed the worms food and let them do their thing. I wonder how anyone could compete with us at this point. I see Kim bringing all things spider silk and associated proteins, under the KBLB umbrella. I am not sure you could call Tufts a competitor. I think new arrangements with Tufts, will be forthcoming. That is if past events hold true.
