That is a very good point Red, and a point that hasnt been discussed yet. No, financial institution will be giving away 1 million dollars to some pink without some time of proof or documentation.
It is clear that there is some type of pending deal associated with the Super tucano. This craft is used worldwide, and TADF has been focusing on the International arena, while tac-air continues to fulfill their domestic contracts with the navy, airforce, DoD. The pr two weeks ago, clearly stated that the super tucano was financed by tadf and will be maintained and used by tac-air. Now, the wording yesterday, was that it is being prepared for contract. Specific wording, implying that there is a contract in place. Its not a coincidence, that Tac-air has featured this craft on their website. Tadf has been working for over a year to get this plane. And now they have in their possession the only Super Tucano in the US for training purposes.

Mergers, particularly among defense companies, take time. Why? Simply because you have to re-market yourself and your company to the Contracting Officers. Not to mention the integration of different company cultures. And any existing contracts have to be reviewed if they require clearance or special permits.

We are asking two companies to finish a merger in under a year. I've seen defense acquisitions before - prime example L3's takeover of MPRI. And that took three years! Again, I repeat, patience is key.
