Sure. Makes sense, actually, since there was no reason for the Berthold's to start this company in the first place other than to raise money for their private company, InoHealth.
Their outrageous salaries were already pointed and this severance package is just more outrageousness.
The problem was always that they couldn't make any real money by selling anything to pay themselves. But they can sure sell shares.
