You should do a little more reading at Interactive Brokers. If you want to short a stock trading below a dollar, it'll cost you $2.50 a share.

LOL. Yeah It would be real bright to put up 2.50 per share to short a one penny stock, eh? Because that is what it costs to do so. If the stock went to zero and was revoked by the SEC so that one never had to cover, what would be your percentage return on such an endeavor?
