Richard Bernstein was on CNBC this morning and almost declared open season on high Beta stocks. Those two stocks you mentioned are not high up on their hunting list.

I can not say same for CCMP QCOM or half of what your into.

I do not follow them so have no idea. What I did see late this afternoon was a concerted effort by the Fed/PPT to get a rally going, but except for those stocks that tend to be directly affected by such action, the rest ignored it. That does not bode well for the future of intervention, in my opinion - either they will have to be much more aggressive or they will fail.

That is pretty much the history of all interventions, though - it takes more and more to be effective, and sooner or later it no longer works. Just ask Japan.
