I do not follow them so have no idea. What I did see late this afternoon was a concerted effort by the Fed/PPT to get a rally going, but except for those stocks that tend to be directly affected by such action, the rest ignored it. That does not bode well for the future of intervention, in my opinion - either they will have to be much more aggressive or they will fail.

That is pretty much the history of all interventions, though - it takes more and more to be effective, and sooner or later it no longer works. Just ask Japan.
