I went to the hearing today to understand once and for all who this company was that has completely absorbed my life for the last year and a half. I wanted to finally hear the truth -- good or bad.
There were lots of surprises. But first I'll start with my conclusions...(ALL IMO, of course)
I won't be investing another dime in CMKX. They never intended to file -- not ever. I don't think they seriously intend to file anytime soon. IBM was hired as a figurehead to appease us. He knows very little about the company or the business. I feel like I've been duped. Now I won't use the "S" word, because I can't figure out where the NSS is coming from, but if it sounds like a duck...
Just some interesting tidbits: As of Dec. of 2004 CMKX was -$36,000,000 in the hole.
Our wonderful new attorneys claim to have come on board and immediately find that we need to file an amendment to revoke our original Form 15 (the one with the shareholder discrepancy) --- NOT. Behind closed doors, the SEC had brought this to CMKX's attention in December of 2004, thereby forcing them to correct it. Now doesn't this make more sense? Why would we revoke a filing that would cause us to file within 60 days if we had no hope of ever having those filings ready?
Why does Ed Dhonau go on the stand saying that he exchanged 75Billion shares of CMKX stock for $2.2 million because he no longer felt comfortable holding our stock with an SEC investigation pending? He testified that he met Urban at a slot machine
Both Mahue and Urban work out of their homes, no CMKX offices anywhere. By the way, the SEC atty pointed out that CMKX had falsified their 8K be knowingly putting down a false address.
There's lots more folks....I'll get all my notes down here tomorrow. Let me just say that I know that there are a lot of folks out there like myself that invested too much in this company, because we believed that Urban and others associated with this company really cared about the shareholders. I mean, we didn't have much else to go on, right? Well today I realize that I've been rather naive. These people know what to say to get their hands on investor $$s.
