Interesting observation. I upgraded a friends PC couple weeks ago and they had the PC-133 on sale but not the PC-100. In the past when it was the same manufacturer both have been on sale. A 256M module for PC-133 was 19.99, the PC-100 was 69.99. They had no PC-133. After arguing with the manager how they never have enough stock on their sale items they gave me the PC-100 at the PC-133 sale price. I have seen in industry magazines the same price disparity.
