They even LIE on their LABEL. DERRICK COLEMAN 1990 1st round draft pick, And HFBG labeled their bottle that it was Larry Johnson. Also trying to lay claim that LJ was a TEN TIME NBA ALLSTAR?? Meanwhile it was ONLY TWICE? Well if they LIED about this how the HECK do we know the INGREDIENTS are labeled correctly. The WHOLE LABEL has to be taken as a LIE. LJ STATED "It has Lipton in it" And other posters have stated it was made with CORN SYRUP. They just MAY BE RIGHT?
FTC handles cases of false advertising and misrepresentations on ingredient labels. What with the "It has Lipton tea in it so you taste the tea" elliptical claim by LJ, the reported re-labeling of the tea, and now this reputed false hype in their advertising, there appear to be sufficient grounds for a complaint. "The FTC is charged with oversight of truth in labeling and advertising."
"It has Lipton tea in it so you taste the tea." -Larry Johnson @ 2:25-2:28 in a recorded interview. It can't get much clearer than that.
Muddy: FTC needs to look into LJ's claims and his involvement in this provably fraudulent firm. Did he approve the reputed false label statement regarding his own basketball career? Additionally, Unilever Lipton will not be pleased about the use of their good name in LJ's widely disseminated public statement that GMM product "has Lipton tea in it" without attribution on the label.
How involved is Larry Johnson, really? If Calvin Ross is reading this post, he needs to get the labels fixed! LOL!
Look closely
Johnson was drafted in 1991. And he was only selected to the All-Star Game twice.
And, yes, it's on the bottles, too!
Maybe they were thinking about Derrick Coleman, who was the #1 pick in the 1990 draft. He made over $80 million in his career and is now broke. Recently filed for bankruptcy, owing money to well over 50 creditors.
Given the tendency of NBA players to blow through money, it's highly likely the #1 pick in the 1991 draft is also broke. Derrick Coleman needs to get smart and attach himself to a penny stock scam. It's working for Larry Johnson.
Johnson has to have looked at this poster, right? He's involved, right? So hands on, right?
