BMET a 5-year earnings play winner for upside. Can BMET do it again?
Earnings release Wednesday December 18 (before the open). I would be very interested in the upcoming 2 weeks which will have quite an effect on the market. If there are enough earnings plays that buck the downtrend, we would search for "Gems Among the Ruins" as we have for the past 6 earnings years.
The prior earnings season, which hit a climax during the last week in October, coincided with an 8 week market recovery. It remains to be seen what we get in last 2 weeks of December. January might resume upside as traders/investors paid the price of buying too much 'on credit' (markets pulling down after the credit card payment was due) and stocks might have renewed upside as the credit limits are once again adjusted to the upside.
