So, can you explain to me how it is 'living off the government' when these folks paid in to these programs their entire working lives? Seems it is already their money ... over which the government is supposed to provide responsible stewardship, during the time the government has possession of it ...

Lauderdale area of FL...The meeting was going well until a man (self-described senior citizen) asked Webster why he voted FOR Paul Ryan's plan to gut Medicare/end Medicaid - the hall erupted in loud jeers, not cheers.
