I enjoyed reading your post. It makes sense.

There is no real right or wrong answer, except this answer....that our aim is to buy low and sell high.

To that I would add...same as any other investing method, the bottomline return on investment is the real measure of whether or not our particular version of AIM is working for us.

Husk, well stated. I might add that this "thought process" I'm going through has not been tested by me in detail. For me it would only apply to a certain class of equity. I might try it with an ADCT but wouldn't consider it with a BUD.

I also don't know how AIM would react if I made say three consecutive buys at half the recommendation. It may get a bit confusing. It may make more sense to just pencil down my thoughts and lengthen my time frame between buys.
