it is a disease, cg...when i get home and see my laptop sitting on the bookshelf i have a hard time resisting reaching for it and seeing what's on line...as opposed to getting up and taking things off that ever growing todo list.

should we consider a support group?

Welcome back.

Was it the power that caused the problem, or don't you know what did? Did you see my post about the surge supressors and UPSs sometimes causing the power problems we buy them to avoid?

Having a backup computer is a great idea. Now you'll have fun deciding if you want a PB, iBook, or a Mac mini. :) Nice choices.
