MY BORN AGAIN Imac G5
Last week I thought I had solved my computer problem with telephone support from AppleCare. Then it died, it quit each time I booted within about 2 minutes, usually before getting to the desktop. Finally today, I got a new midplane assembly and power supply installed with onsite service under AppleCare, and things look good.
I have to think seriously about a second computer because the six days without one was hell. But I must say, no computer and no online etc was an eye opener. I got out more, read books and spent more time with friends and on the phone. There is a life out there beyond cyberspace.
