If Joe sells to Moe the shareholder count remains the same. But if Joe sells to Shorty the shareholder number certainly goes down. Shorty's still there until he makes a 'buy'. The retailer he originally sold to has bought a counterfeit electronic credit and becomes a counterfeit shareholder. He THINKS he owns shares .. doesn't he ???
