It printed it days later because her computer spooled it to the printers queue but the job didn't print.

I just got a wireless printer and not long after I installed it I had to reset my router. I had an unsecured connection but wasn't really worried about anyone doing anything mischievous because they would have to be right outside my window to get a half way decent connection. Anyway, I secured it when I reset it and then had to change all the computers and the printer to recognize it. Which basically just meant entering the WEP key into each device. This is probably pretty close to what happened with your setup.

The configurations have to be exact, if you do a reset and one little thing gets changed, all your devices have to be updated with that little change.
