We start the day clear and cold, temperatures in the the 30's as the sun comes up. We'll get a few more clouds as the day goes on, closer to 50 degrees at lunchtime. East winds will pick up during the day, 5 to 15 miles per hour in the valley, gusting to around 30mph in the gorge. We have a slight chance of a shower or even a thunderstorm developing later in the afternoon. A hgih of 56 in Portland today.
